It was a beautiful May morning as we set out on the waters of Lake Texoma for our 5-Hour Fishing Guide Charter. The crew and I were excited to show Kyle and his group a fantastic time on the lake, as the conditions were looking prime for some great fishing.

We kicked things off with a mix of fly fishing, baitcasting, and drift fishing techniques, hoping to entice the Wiper (Hybrid striped bass) that are so abundant in these waters this time of year. It didn't take long before the rods started bending, and the group was whooping and hollering as we reeled in fish after fish. The Wipers were really feeding aggressively, putting up a great fight and providing plenty of fast-paced action.

As the day went on, we continued to work different areas of the lake, finding pockets of active fish and adjusting our presentation to keep the bites coming. The water clarity was fantastic, allowing us to spot the fish and make precise casts. In between the flurries of action, we had a chance to take in the scenic beauty of Lake Texoma, enjoying the tranquil setting and building camaraderie with the crew.

By the end of our 5-hour adventure, we had filled the cooler with a great mix of Wiper, and the group was beaming with excitement over the fantastic day on the water.
